Drylands Traverse

From the dark damp fissures of the world renowned Cango Caves, to the snow packed peaks of the mighty Swartberg mountain range, this is the Dryland Traverse and it is a race like no other. From an underground start to an eventual cresting of the highest mountain range in the Cape, there simply is no equal when it comes to a sense of achievement, setting and the overall spirit – the Dryland Traverse is a must for every adventure seeker.

Tented Village:

Team Entry: R8 600 (Early bird: R7 900 valid until 31/05/2017)
Solo Entry: R4 450 (Early bird: R4 200 valid until 31/05/2017)

Tented accommodation is included in the standard entry package – it is spacious enough for you and your travel bag.

• Spacious 2 man tent per runner – ready for occupation when you arrive at the race village.
• Comfortable mattress.
• Hot showers.
• Clean accessible toilets.
• Swimming pool.
• Bring your own bedding.

None of the tents in the tented village may be moved to another campsite

Own Accomodation booking:

This option is available for those runners that would like to stay close by or supply their own tent or caravan.

If you choose this option and wish to stay at the race village you need to book your campsite stand directly with De Hoek Mountain Resort.
